A New Beginning

ANB is an intense, heartwarming story about second chances and new beginnings I highly recommend. Chelsea, the female   MC, is such a lovely character! I can't get over her thoughts and reactions while giving birth; those were as funny as emotional.   Everyone who's gone through that experience will certainly identify with the feelings conveyed. Wonderful book. Looking   forward to the next installment of this series.

I adored this novel, the characters, and the overall theme of love, second chances, love, family, and just love. Luckily, I have the   next novel in this series, patiently waiting for me on my Kindle, and can’t wait to dig into to it. A New Beginning has family   drama, romance, angst, misunderstandings, and forgiveness. I highly recommend this to readers that are craving something     romantic without all the naughty, steamy bits.

This book is a page-turner! I couldn't put it down. This is the first of a multiple series work, and if the first book is any indication   - I will be buying the entire series! The characters are so real and believable, you are rooting (and scowling) at them from the  first chapter on. You want to call them and give them advice, they are that believable. Great read! -- Can't wait for MORE from   this author!

Only in My Dreams

There are some difficult topics in this novel involving death, addiction, and neglect - however, the overall tone of this novel is one of change, hope, and finding happiness not only in relationships but within yourself. I will warn you that this one was a tear-jerker at times, both happy and sad, but mostly happy. The end of the novel had me steady crying tears of joy and when finished reading, I had a fantastic warm and fuzzy feeling. Also, those that aren't a huge fan of explicit sex scenes, this is perfect for you. There are numerous romantic and sexy moments, but not in an overly detailed way. Ricki Dagosta sets the tone, lets you know what's going on, but allows the readers to use their imagination.

Only in My Dreams, the second instalment of The Ties that Bind series, is another wonderful story about love and family, forgiveness and second chances by Ricki Dagosta, that again tackles the complexities of human relationships with elegance and sensibility. And, when appropriate, with a dash of humour.
Both MCs are struggling with their past while trying to start anew: the insecure and broken Kristen is determined to not give herself to another man who isn’t willing to truly commit, Vince carries the weight of the worst pains of all, an event that marked his past and almost destroys his present and his chance at a second chance at happiness with Kristen.
This is a beautifully written novel, one of those that definitely stays with you...

Most people my age can relate to Kristen and root for her throughout this “can’t put down” book. We’ve all made mistakes and the lucky ones are given a chance to clean up our acts. When she meets the man of her dreams, it seems too good to be true; and unfortunately it is. Is Vince really the man Kristen has been dreaming of, or will she end up with a shattered heart once again? I had to keep turning the pages so I could see how this turns out! I loved Vince, then hated him, felt sorry for him and wanted to strangle him, but not necessarily in that order! Read this book. You will not be disappointed! You don’t have to read her books in order, but you’ll want to mark her as an author to follow so you won’t miss any!
