I chose the title, 'The Ties that Bind' for my 4-book series after hearing 'President Fitz' from the TV show, 'Scandal' use the term pertaining to whatever it was at the time. I liked the connotation and thought it fit what I'm writing about: relationships between a group of people who for the most part have been in one another's lives since childhood. It didn't occur to me at the time, that it might sound like the title for a collection of erotica fiction, which is way more sizzling than

Though I had never heard of the author, I took a chance and knew I'd made a great decision right from the start. Kate Smith had captivated my attention with her amazing ability to weave emotion throughout her story. That and her realistic cast of characters had me wishing for more time to read. I'm always sad to reach the last page of a great story, and that had certainly been
